Tuttosport: Milan accelerate pursuit of PSG teenager; enter talks over €17m full-back deal

AC Milan are looking to strengthen their back line this summer with moves for two young defenders, according to a report.

Tuttosport on Thursday (via MilanNews) are reporting that the key figures at Milan are currently at work in view of the summer transfer window, and are aiming for two reinforcements in particular.

The club are trying to accelerate for Tanguy Kouassi, a 17-year-old defender owned by Paris Saint-Germain. The Frenchman has already racked up 13 official appearances with two goals in Ligue 1, and he is talent that Milan scouts have already widely promoted. The boy, for cost and quality, falls within the parameters imposed by the Elliott fund, but it will not be easy to snatch him from the competition.

As for the full-backs, keep an eye on the PSV Eindhoven’s Denzel Dumfries, for whom contacts with Raiola and the Dutch side are constant. PSV’s price may drop to €15-17million for the 24-year-old, but it will not go further.

The future of Calabria and Conti is still uncertain, while there is no doubt about the permanence of Theo Hernandez, a player that Milan consider to be unsellable.
