Tuttosport: Milan have two alternative targets to Arsenal’s Balogun

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan have got two other forwards that they could try to sign if a deal for Arsenal’s Folarin Balogun cannot be pulled off in the summer transfer window, a report claims.

As has been reported by Tuttosport (via Milan News), the Rossoneri are keeping very close tabs on Lois Openda from Lens and Victor Boniface from Union Saint-Gilloise.

Balogun, who is currently on loan at Stade Reims in France, is the player than Milan are chasing the hardest to improve the strike force.

With extremely stiff competition from elsewhere, though, they must prepare for the idea that another target may be needed.

Both Openda and Boniface will also be pursued by other teams but they could be cheaper than Balogun who has impressed much of Europe whilst at Reims.

Boniface has scored 20 times this season for Union Saint-Gilloise whilst Openda has netted 17 times for Lens in Ligue 1, helping the team potentially qualify for the Champions League next season.
