AC Milan are confident that Mike Maignan is only going to be banned for one match after his red card against Genoa on Saturday night, a report claims.
As has been reported by Tuttosport (via Milan News), the Sports Judge is going to be defining the punishments from the weekend’s action today and it is not yet clear how long Maignan will be out for.

The options are a three-match ban or a one-match ban if it is only deemed as ‘serious foul play’. There is confidence that Maignan’s offence is only going to be worthy of a one-match ban.
That confidence suggests that were it to be three matches, Milan would choose to appeal the decision. Regardless, Milan are going to be without Maignan for the home game against Juventus after the international break.
Whilst Olivier Giroud did well in an emergency situation, Marco Sportiello will be between the sticks.
