Tuttosport: Milan continue pursuit of €20m PSV star despite Kalulu signing – the latest

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are still keen on signing PSV Eindhoven captain Denzel Dumfries despite the acquisition of Pierre Kalulu, a report claims.

The Rossoneri are in the market for a new starting right-back after both Davide Calabria and Andrea Conti have struggled massively this season.

As Tuttosport notes on Monday (via MilanLive), Kalulu will arrive for his medical ahead of signing a five-year deal, but Milan are not done there as they also want to sign Dumfries.

The Rossoneri are covered on the left with Theo Hernandez and are now looking for a profile on the other band with similar characteristics. Kalulu is a good investment for the future, but Dumfries could immediately become a starter.

Agent Mino Raiola will soon meet CEO Ivan Gazidis to talk about the renewals of Donnarumma and Ibrahimovic, and Dumfries will likely come up in conversation.

The obstacle, however, is the fact that PSV have said no to the proposed swap with Ricardo Rodriguez, and the Dutch club has already made it known that they want at least €20million. The deal could be unlocked for around €17m plus €3m bonuses.
