Tuttosport: Milan feel like ‘victims’ in ‘monstrous’ €40m pursuit of Wolves, Spurs target

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan feel victimised by the soap opera surrounding the future of Dinamo Zagreb star Dani Olmo, according to a report.

The latest from Sportske claims that RB Leipzig are ready to pay Dinamo €16m up front to land the Spain international, plus other bonuses and a percentage in case of future sale that could take the deal well over €30m, with Olmo keen on the move.

Tuesday’s edition of Tuttosport though – as cited by MilanNews.it – the 21-year-old would also be open to joining Milan, but the Rossoneri feel like ‘victims’ of the media hype that has emerged in Croatia.

When factoring in the percentage of resale and the agent commission, it is a deal could touch the monstrous figure of €40m, a sum that Milan cannot pay due to Financial Fair Play restrictions.

There is a feeling of annoyance that has filtered from Casa Milan  as Maldini, Boban et al. feel the club’s interest has been used to increase media attention around the Spaniard, with Dinamo Zagreb already anticipating an auction.

Sportske claim Wolves have offered €25m for Olmo, adding that Leicester, Tottenham, Barcelona and RB Leipzig are also in the running.
