Tuttosport: Milan have €10-12m Spurs man on list of five defensive targets

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are still on the hunt for a new centre-back after missing out on Sven Botman and Japhet Tanganga’s name is back in fashion, a report claims.

Tanganga was linked back in January and is clearly profile that the Rossoneri management like. According to Tuttosport (via MilanLive), the 23-year-old is valued by Tottenham at €10-12m after a difficult season.

It is certainly an affordable figure for the Rossoneri but Tanganga – who is under contract until 2025 – was forced to miss the entire second part of the season due to a knee problem so his condition must therefore be carefully checked.

In the background there remain profiles such as Abdou Diallo of PSG or Francesco Acerbi of Lazio. The Ligue 1 side may soften their asking price as the days and weeks tick by while the Biancocelesti may open to letting Acerbi go for free. Malick Thiaw of Schalke and Maxime Esteve of Montpellier are also liked.

  1. Lets just hope we dont end sign free transfer superstar king acerbi because we failed get botman/bremer/diallo/japhet

  2. Tanganga for 10M? I would buy him tomorrow. He looked quite good when he played but he didn’t really get the real chance there + he is only 23, can cover RB if really necessary and a few more things. PSG is asking more for Diallo, even Milenković would cost 15M and his contract will expire next season.
