AC Milan are in a five-team race to land Saint-Etienne defender Wesley Fofana in the upcoming transfer window, a report claims.
It is no secret that the Rossoneri are in the market for a long-term partner for captain Alessio Romagnoli, and Fofana is a name who continues to be linked.
The future of Mateo Musacchio is increasingly uncertain, as well as the position of Leo Duarte, who has not fully convinced, while evaluations must also be made on Gabbia.
According to Sunday’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Fofana is among the names that Milan are monitoring in view of the summer window.
However they are not alone, as in fact, Leicester, Lyon, Monaco and Rennes have also set their sights on the 19-year-old.
This comes after a report on Saturday from Le10Sport which claimed that Milan and Leicester are very interested in his services, and that the Rossoneri have even presented a €14m offer to Saint-Etienne.
