Tuttosport: Milan joined by Dortmund and RB Leipzig in pursuit of €15m Empoli starlet

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are in a five-team battle to land Empoli midfielder Samuele Ricci in the upcoming transfer window, according to a report.

The Rossoneri have been repeatedly linked with a move for Ricci by various media outlets over the past few weeks ahead of what promises to be a summer of overhaul in midfield.

Lucas Biglia and Giacomo Bonaventura will leave on free transfers while the futures of Rade Krunic, Lucas Paqueta, Franck Kessie and even now Ismael Bennacer have been thrust into doubt.

According to the paper edition of Tuttosport on Friday (as cited by Calciomercato.com), Milan are one of five teams who are in the running to land Ricci this summer.

Indeed the 18-year-old midfielder has ended up in the sights of some big clubs in Europe, with Napoli, Fiorentina, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig all also keen.

Empoli are expected to demand €15m to sell their prized young asset this summer.
