Alessandro Buongiorno is attracting the interest of various clubs, including AC Milan, and Torino have reportedly set their asking price.
According to what is being reported by Tuttosport (via TMW), both Inter and Milan have made enquiries regarding Buongiorno’s future in view of the next summer transfer window, but Juventus director Giuntoli has also asked for information too.
At the moment it is an ‘impossible operation’ for the Bianconeri but the mercato, as we know, is unpredictable and full of surprises. Despite this, it is not a comparable situation to the Gleison Bremer one, the last central defender who crossed the city divide.
In addition to the three biggest Italian clubs, Chelsea in the Premier League have also expressed an interest in signing the Italy international. Torino are rubbing their hands, and they are asking for €35m in order to even consider selling.
The 24-year-old became a regular starter for Torino last season and he wore the captain’s armband that season. At the end of the 2022-23 campaign, he renewed his contract until 2028 which gives the Granata plenty of leverage in negotiations.
Probably better to focus on Pirola or Vitti. Coppola for a right footed cb.
35M for a CB isnt all that much nowadys. Botman went for 37M
I would prefer Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna because he can also play LB and he’s really good at CB too.
I was just going to say this. He’s been magnificent this season. Buy him before it’s too late. He will probably go to Juve soon. He feels like he would fit them.
Yes, this. We were linked to him in summer, and he ended up going to Bologna for only 4mil. I can’t wrap my head around it. If he was so cheap, why not take a flyer on him, a young Italian who can play two positions where we needed players? I hope they still go after him, he’s probably still way cheaper than Buongiorno, younger and more versatile.
