Tuttosport: Milan hopeful of agreeing loan deal for Scamacca who ticks two boxes

Gianluca Scamacca is one of AC Milan’s main targets for the summer transfer window and they are hopeful of sealing a loan deal, a report claims.

This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via PianetaMilan) highlights how Milan are looking for more Italians to address some gaps in their squad and also to help with the composition of the squad list which requires a certain amount of home-grown players.

Among the names on the list of targets is Scamacca, who could help towards both of Milan’s needs, namely that of signing a physically strong centre-forward and that of having more players who came through Italian academies in the squad.

Scamacca was actually part of Roma’s academy and spent time at Ascoli too, joining Sassuolo where he began to shine and earned a big-money move to West Ham where he has so far struggled.

The paper states that a loan deal for Scamacca is possible, and the he is part of a list of names that Milan are keeping an eye on with others being Marko Arnautovic, Roberto Firmino, Álvaro Morata, Hugo Ekitike, Elye Wahi, Loïs Openda and Folarin Balogun.
