The majority of AC Milan’s players received positive feedback from Tuttosport after Sunday’s impressive 2-0 victory over Hellas Verona.

The paper (via PianetaMilan) have given their player ratings in the Monday edition, starting by giving Franck Kessie a score of 7 out of 10 as the Ivorian ‘has been holding up the weight of the midfield almost alone all season’.

Head coach Stefano Pioli also got a score of 7 for the way that he ‘managed to transform the cheerful brigade of 4 days ago’ into three points against a tough opponent having lost Theo Hernández, Sandro Tonali and Ante Rebić.

Diogo Dalot and Rade Krunić – the two goal scorers – also received a score of 7 as they put in impressive games. A 6.5 was given to Davide Calabria, Fikayo Tomori, Alessio Romagnoli, Soualiho Meïte and Alexis Saelemaekers.

Gianluigi Donnarumma and Rafael Leão each received a 6, with the Portuguese forward having ‘struggled, even if he made a contribution in the defensive phase’. The only negative was Samu Castillejo who got a rating of 5.5: “Objectively below his Rossoneri team-mates, authors of an excellent performance.”
