Tuttosport: Milan player ratings from Liverpool loss – seven starters heavily criticised

By Oliver Fisher -

Several AC Milan players were way off the pace during last night’s defeat against Liverpool, according to Tuttosport’s player ratings.

The Rossoneri lost 2-1 despite the fact Jurgen Klopp heavily rotated his team as they had already qualified as top of Group B, and that means that Milan are out of Europe and have just domestic competitions to focus on.

Tuttosport (via MilanNews) have published their ratings in this morning’s edition of the paper, and only three Rossoneri players were worthy of a passing grade of 6 out of 10: Pierre Kalulu, Alessio Romagnoli and Rade Krunic.

There were four players who came in below part at 5.5 in Mike Maignan, Alessandro Florenzi, Alexis Saelemaekers and Ismael Bennacer – with the latter three being substitutes – while a score of 5 was given to Fikayo Tomori, Theo Hernandez, Sandro Tonali, Franck Kessie, Junior Messias, Brahim Diaz and Zlatan Ibrahimovic who formed the core of the starting XI.

  1. Actually Tomori was good. He was the only one capable to play at the same physical level as Liverpool players. No blame for the mistake led to goal.
And I never expected to say that Krunic was our best player last night.
