Tuttosport: Milan players ratings from Udinese draw – Theo ‘nervous’; Leao ‘sluggish and soft’

A number of AC Milan players were criticised for their performance during last night’s disappointing 1-1 draw against Udinese.

The Rossoneri managed a draw thanks to a 97th-minute penalty due to a moment of utter naivety from Stryger Larsen. The draw does not make the night less bitter though, as it seems Milan are no longer the unbeatable and brilliant team admired in 2020.

This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) carries some player ratings from last night’s game, and starting with the negative notes both Theo Hernandez and Rafael Leao were given a 4 out of 10. The full-back looked “nervous and loses 30 balls”, the attacker “is in the sluggish and soft version”.

Gianluigi Donnarumma, Samu Castillejo, Ante Rebic and Jens Petter Hauge all got a score of 5, while there was half a mark more (5.5) for substitute Soualiho Meite. Only Simon Kjaer (6.5) and Alessio Romagnoli (6) were saved criticism, as well as man of the match Franck Kessié who got a rating of 6.5.
