Tuttosport: Milan player ratings from Lazio win – plenty to celebrate in statement victory

By Oliver Fisher -

A number of AC Milan players drew praise from Tuttosport for their performance during last night’s demolition of Lazio in the Coppa Italia.

According to the player ratings drawn up by Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Giroud was the man of the match thanks to his brace that really blew the game open and he got a score of 8. The same vote also went to Rafael Leao, who scored a goal and got an assist.

Brahim Diaz’s performance (7.5) was also excellent, as were the performances of Theo Hernandez and Sandro Tonali (7 for both). A 6.5 was given to Pierre Kalulu and Alessio Romagnoli at the heart of the defence as well.

Franck Kessie got a 6.5 and looked more comfortable back in the double pivot, scoring the fourth goal, while both right wingers used in Junior Messias and Alexis Saelemaekers got the same. Ante Rebic got a 6 as he came off the bench and looked a bit rusty.
