AC Milan will face a familiar foe on Thursday night when they get their Europa League campaign up and running against Celtic.
As reported by Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the match against Celtic is a game that smells of history as even though it will be the first time these teams have met in the Europa League, they have met 10 times before in the Champions League. Milan have a good record in those particular fixtures with six wins, three draws and only one defeat.
Milan are trying to rebuild an international mentality and take advantage of a moment in which they are high in confidence due to recent results and of course because of the work of Stefano Pioli. The league remains the priority (since it is the main route to return to the Champions League stage) but when there are trophies to be won this Milan want to be a protagonist.
