Tuttosport: Milan will do ‘everything possible’ to sign Chelsea defender – €28m fee could be lowered

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are determined to try and keep Fikayo Tomori beyond the end of the season and will try negotiate his fee with Chelsea, a report claims.

Tomori arrived on a loan until the end of the season back in the January window with an option to buy included which, according to virtually every major source, is set at around €28m. His performances so far have been excellent leading to intense speculation that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara will look to keep him beyond the end of his loan spell.

According to what is being reported by Tuttosport this morning (via MilanNews), the management believe that Tomori has given ample guarantees alongside Simon Kjaer in the heart of the defence, proving to be a reliable defender. Milan ‘will therefore do everything possible’ to be able to sign him from Chelsea, perhaps trying to lower the €28m buy-out fixed at the time of stipulation of the loan agreement.
