There are currently no negotiations between AC Milan and Atalanta over Josip Ilicic but the forward wants to leave, a report claims.
A number of different profiles have been linked with a move to Milan as they look for Hakan Calhanoglu’s replacement, such as James Rodriguez of Everton, Isco of Real Madrid, Hakim Ziyech of Chelsea, Marcel Sabitzer of RB Leipzig.
According to what Tuttosport (via MilanNews) reports this morning, Josip Ilicic could very well be an opportunity for the Rossoneri. The 33-year-old has asked for a sale and Milan are also on his trail, but for the moment the Rossoneri and Atalanta have not yet started a real negotiation.
The paper adds that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have no intention of shelling out a big sum to snatch him from the Bergamo club and are willing to pay a small compensation. They would also waive the bonuses they would get for Matteo Pessina, as Milan are currently entitled to 50% of future resale or €3m when he hits 100 appearances for La Dea (currently on 59).

Such a shame if this comes true
As much as we all would like pessina back the deal mirabelli set up with atalanta was rather bad and as he most likely will reach his 100th game for them this coming season which will mean that our 50% resale clause will expire this might actually be the only way we can capitalize on it.
Acmilan should please and please Giovanni do lemmes of Mexico from rebetis instead of ziyech
