Tuttosport: Milan’s probable XI for Spezia clash – Three changes; Hauge from start?

Following the thrilling win against Rio Ave in the Europa League play-off round, Milan are now gearing up to take on Spezia at San Siro. Therefore, they must regain concentration immediately and reenergize.

As reported by today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews.it), Stefano Pioli is studying the best formation for the game, learning from the mistakes made against Rio Ave. Samu Castillejo, for example, is expected to sit on the bench.

Sandro Tonali could also play from start, giving Ismael Bennacer some much-needed rest after what was a hard-working performance last time out. Alexis Saelemaekers should start on the right-wing, but an extra eye must be kept on Jens Petter Hauge.

The biggest dilemma, of course, is the role up front. Daniel Maldini showed that he isn’t comfortable in that position and Rafael Leao isn’t 100% fit yet. It will be between the latter and Lorenzo Colombo, who wants redemption after missing his penalty.

Milan (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Calabria, Kjaer, Gabbia, Hernandez; Tonali, Kessie; Saelemaekers (Hauge), Calhanoglu, Brahim Diaz; Colombo (Leao).
