Tuttosport: Arrival, presser, fan meet and training – Morata eager to begin Milan adventure

By Oliver Fisher -

Alvaro Morata has had to wait a little longer to get his AC Milan adventure going, but he will soon be back in Italy and ready to go.

After months of names, rumours and speculation, Milan finally made Morata their new centre-forward as he signed on permanent basis from Atletico Madrid. According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the Spaniard ‘can’t wait’ to get going with his new club.

Indeed, Morata is raring to go and even the Milan fans can’t wait to see him on the pitch in a red and black shirt. The former Real Madrid and Juventus man – who arrives as a European champion with Spain – is enjoying the last few days of his vacation with his family.

Tomorrow he is expected to land in Milano and presentation press conference is scheduled for Friday at 12:00 CEST at Casa Milan, while in the evening (17 :30) he will have his first direct contact with the fans at the new Milan Flagship Store in via Dante in the city centre.

The day most awaited by Alvaro is definitely Saturday when he will be at Milanello for his first training session with his new team-mates, who are returning from a very positive tour in the United States.

Paulo Fonseca has granted two days of rest to his players who will resume work on Saturday at the training complex so that is when Morata will greet everyone, while he should get minutes the following Tuesday in the Silvio Berlusconi Trophy against Monza.
