Tuttosport: Milan player ratings from Sassuolo loss – nobody above 5.5; duo heavily criticised

No AC Milan players were worthy of getting even an average score after yesterday’s 3-1 defeat against Sassuolo at San Siro, according to Tuttosport.

This morning’s edition of the paper (via MilanNews) has published their player ratings as part of the analysis of what was another damaging defeat in the league for the Rossoneri. The highest score that they gave out (5.5) went to goalkeeper Mike Maignan, centre-back Simon Kjaer, winger Alexis Saelemakers, substitute Junior Messias and striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

A 5 was given to Alessandro Florenzi, Pietro Pellegri, Theo Hernandez, Sandro Tonali, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Franck Kessie, Brahim Diaz and Rafael Leao.

The midfield struggles were compounded by Ismael Bennacer’s performance as he got a 4.5. The lowest score (4) was given to Alessio Romagnoli, who was beaten by Berardi for the third goal before seeing a straight red card for bringing down Defrel as he was about to go through on goal.
