Tuttosport: Probable Milan XI for Benevento clash – Pioli forced to battle numerous absences

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli will once again have to adapt as he has a number of selection issues to deal with for the trip to Benevento.

As Tuttosport reports (via MilanNews), Pioli has been faced with issues for months now and he can do nothing but makes changes and try to bring yet another positive result. Against Benevento, there will be the absences of key players in practically every department.

Pioli will be without Theo Hernandez who is suspended as well as the injured Gabbia, Bennacer, Saelemaekers and Ibrahimovic.

On the left, instead of Theo, will be Diogo Dalot, with Calabria, Kjaer and Romagnoli in front of Donnarumma to complete the back four. In the middle of the field it will be Tonali’s turn again, alongside Kessie, while Brahim Diaz will act in the trio in support of the centre-forward Leao.

Brahim will play in an unusual role for him, but Calhanoglu and Rebic will have their usual attacking midfield and left wing spots respectively.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Calabria, Kjaer, Romagnoli, Dalot; Tonali, Kessie; Diaz, Calhanoglu, Rebic; Leao.
