Tuttosport: Probable Milan XI to face Roma – Leao to start with four changes from Celtic clash

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli has a few changes to his starting XI in mind compared to the one that beat Celtic 3-1 on Thursday night, a report claims.

Pioli made a number of alterations for the game in Scotland as Diogo Dalot, Sandro Tonali, Rade Krunic, Samu Castillejo and Brahim Diaz all started.

According to Sunday’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the Milan boss is set to revert back to the XI which has won four out of four in Serie A so far.

The only difference though is that Hakan Calhanoglu will not be fit to start, even if the Turkey international is trying to at least be on the bench.

The back four will be Calabria, Kjaer, Romagnoli and Theo Hernandez in front of Gianluigi Donnarumma, with Bennacer coming back in to partner Franck Kessie in midfield.

Alexis Saelemaekers will be on the right wing and Rafael Leao on the left as in the derby against Inter, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic up front. The only doubt is whether to put Rade Krunic or Brahim Diaz as the playmaker behind the Swede.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Calabria, Kjaer, Romagnoli, Hernandez; Kessie, Bennacer; Saelemaekers, Diaz (Krunic), Leao; Ibrahimovic.
