Tuttosport: Red Star game a chance for Milan to show there is no ‘evident physiological decline’

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have had a positive season overall but they must recover from what feels like a blip over the past few games, a report claims.

According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), in these first two months of 2021 something is not quite working properly for the Rossoneri, who must now demonstrate that they can keep the same incredible form they had after last year’s lockdown.

In 2021 the team have already lost 4 games out of 10, with 5 victories and a draw in the Coppa Italia (against Torino, before winning on penalties). The paper writes how there has been ‘an evident physiological decline’ and while it is not time to press the emergency alarm just yet, there are important matches on the horizon which could decide the season, and Milan must be ready.

The Rossoneri have a chance to show they are not in crisis during tonight’s game in Belgrade, as a possible positive result against Red Star could give a breath of fresh air in view of Sunday’s derby and the games after.
