AC Milan would be a welcome destination for defender Thiago Silva, a report claims, who is set to leave Paris Saint-Germain after eight years.
According to what Tuttosport are reporting on Sunday (via MilanNews), Milan will proceed with a youth project this summer based around signing young players with high potential to record gains on the balance sheet.
However, the possibility of signing more players with experience – as was seen with the additions of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Simon Kjaer in January – cannot be ruled out.
The budget for the most part will be invested in talented and players who are resell-able in the future, but Milan could also look to target players who are no longer young, like Thiago Silva.
The Brazilian defender believes his time in France has ended eight years after he moved to the capital from the Rossoneri. According to the paper, the player has sent his agent to start looking around for his next club and the option of a return to Milan is one of his favorites, along with that of Fluminense.
