AC Milan’s latest summer signing is fast approaching as Alessandro Florenzi will join the club soon, according to a report.

As this morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) writes, Florenzi will finally land in Milan, undergo medical examinations and join the Rossoneri at least until next summer. An agreement has been found with Roma on the basis of a €1m paid loan and a €4.5m option to buy, making it a low-cost deal for a very useful depth player.

Yesterday, the green light arrived from Milan’s owners Elliott Management to finally complete the deal and today Florenzi is expected to undergo his medical in Milano and then to be at Casa Milan for the signing of his contract. Then, Florenzi will head to Milanello, where he will have the opportunity to meet Pioli and his new team-mates.

The full-back should be available for the season opening match against Sampdoria, scheduled for Monday evening at the Marassi, and the Italy international is full of excitement to start his new adventure in the Rossoneri. He also renounced a month of salary to help push the move through.
