Tuttosport: Roma prepared to sell €35m winger linked with Spurs; Milan waiting at the door

Roma have decided that they will sell winger Cengiz Under this summer, a report claims, amid speculation crediting AC Milan with interest.

Milan were linked with Under extensively throughout the January transfer window as it became apparent they may have to find a replacement for Suso, who ended up joining Sevilla on the penultimate day of the window.

Caciomercato.com even reported at one point that Zvonomir Boban held talks with his entourage and that the player was pushing for a to move to the Rossoneri.

Gianluca Di Marzio told Sky Italia on Tuesday that if Roma were to say that Under is on the market, Milan would certainly be ready to try sign him again. Meanwhile, while Turkish newspaper Gunes believes that Spurs boss Jose Mourinho is a keen admirer of the €35million-rated Turkey international.

According to the latest from Tuttosport on Thursday – as cited by Calciomercato.com – Roma have decided that they will sell Under in the summer and try to make a big capital gain in doing so, with Milan waiting to take advantage of the situation.

In essence, a transfer duel may be about to take place, and it could be a case of the highest bidder winning.
