Another team has shown an interest in signing AC Milan midfielder Rade Krunic this summer, according to a report.
The Bosnia international joined from Empoli last summer but has struggled for game time, even finding himself behind Lucas Biglia in the pecking order towards the end of the season.
His injury problems too have led to speculation that he could leave Milan after just one year, and it has been claimed that clubs have knocked on Milan’s door to ask for information.
MilanNews reported on Friday that confirmations have arrived regarding rumours that Freiburg have made an offer of €7-8million for Krunic.
According to Tuttosport (via MilanLive), Milan are hoping to sign another midfield to compliment the trio of Ismael Bennacer, Franck Kessie and Sandro Tonali, but Krunic must be sold first.
The 26-year-old has been put on the market and could leave for a figure that is around €8m. Freiburg have bid €7m, but the player seems unconvinced by the destination.
Torino insists on signing him as Marco Giampaolo is keen to reunite with the player he coached and Empoli, but in the last few hours Benevento have also thrown their names into the hat.
