Tuttosport: Torino plotting move for Milan goalkeeper

By Euan Burns -

Torino are planning a move for AC Milan goalkeeper Ciprian Tatarusanu who is expected to leave the club in the summer transfer window, a report claims.

As has been reported by Tuttosport (via Calciomercato.com), the Granata are in the market for a player that can act as the backup for Vanja Milinkovic-Savic, their first-choice goalkeeper.

Tatarusanu is their low-cost target for the role but they are more interested in attempting to sign Alessio Cragno who is currently on loan at Monza from Serie B side Cagliari.

Tatarusanu played more than expected this season for Milan because of the injuries that afflicted Mike Maignan ahead of the World Cup and in the new year.

He did a good job of deputising for the Frenchman but it is no secret that the team is better with Maignan between the sticks. With Marco Sportiello expected to arrive in the summer, Tatarusanu is expected to leave.
