AC Milan continue to be linked with midfielders who could potentially replace the outgoing Sandro Tonali, and Yunus Musah is the latest name.
This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via PianetaMilan) writes that Milan have turned to Musah as a potential option for the deeper-lying midfield role given that Tonali is on his way to Newcastle United.
The USA international shone at the last World Cup in Qatar and the Milan scouts believe he is very good technically, is gifted with good vision, is skilled in tight spaces and guarantees coverage.
The paper adds that his arrival would also have a brand impact given that the Rossoneri would gain a boost to their visibility in the United States of America, which RedBird Capital would no doubt like.
However, there is strong competition. Atlético Madrid in LaLiga are keen, plus Liverpool, Chelsea and West Ham in the Premier League. Inter and Juventus have also enquired too.
Milan have been following him for some time though through the scouting area led by Geoffrey Moncada, and see him as an ideal profile in terms of age and speed.
I would trust Moncada’s judgement. But he DEFINITELY Didn’t shine in Qatar WC22. lol
A Midfielder with under 80% passing accuracy and not a DM, looks great.
After selling tonali u deceived us by bidding for fratessi..now it’s Valencia star tomorrow it will be Sudan star… keep deceiving yourselves cardinel
A scout should remain a scout and a manager should remain a manager.
