AC Milan must make decisions on the players they currently have on loan between now and the end of the season, with Alessandro Florenzi among the players with an unresolved future.
According to il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews) however, a decision has pretty much already been made on Florenzi, who arrived on a season-long loan from Roma with an option to buy valid for the summer set at €4.5m.
Because Franck Kessie and Alessio Romagnoli are set to leave on free transfer, the number of players who came through academies in Italy is reduced, and four of those are essential for the composition of the squad lists in both Serie A and for UEFA competitions.
This is why Milan are increasingly convinced by the idea of keeping Florenzi, but there are also technical reasons for this too because during the season he has shown versatility, experience and leadership since recovering from minor knee surgery.
