Lazar Samardzic is attracting interest ahead of the summer transfer window but Udinese have hiked up his asking price, a report claims.
As Calciomercato.com report, the Serbia international has 4 goals and 3 assists in around 1000 minutes of action which has attracted the eyes of clubs in Italy and around Europe, even despite the fact Udinese are trying to hide him from prying eyes.
Milan he could have signed him two years ago when his release clause was just under €1m and they continue to follow him with interest, but today Napoli are the club pushing hardest with contacts already started between the parties as the Partenopei prepare for the possible departure of Piotr Zielinski.
However, Udinese director Pierpaolo Marino sent a clear message regarding Samardzic to Milan and Napoli and the idea of an operation that could be low cost.
“Our idea is to keep a player until he reaches his true value. They can also give us several million for Samardzic, then when you sell him you will regret it. We want to sell our players when they are at their maximum value and when they ask us to leave,” he said.
That same strategy applied to Rodrigo De Paul and the Friulians asked for €40m then, so for Samardzic the figure will not be far away from that.
