The AC Milan management are aiming to be proactive in view of the future, with two players lined up for transfers and one soon to arrive.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) writes that a new goalkeeper will arrive in Milano as the Rossoneri have agreed a deal to sign Devis Vasquez from Club Guaranì. The Colombian goalkeeper will carry out his medical, then will return to South America to come back to Italy in mid-January. For Milan it’s a signing for the future, but he could get some playing time this season.
Then, the paper adds that Milan really like Santos’ Angelo Gabriel. The management spoke to the agents of the right winger, learning that he would be open to the move. The Rossoneri can afford to do the operation because he would be occupying one of the two slots as a non-EU player by 30 June.
There is the need for a plan in case of Rafael Leao’s exit. Among the names monitored is that of Noah Okafor, the RB Salzburg forward who fully fits with the ethos of the project. He has already scored 10 goals this season, 7 of which came in the league and 3 in the Champions League. His contact with Salzburg expires in 2024 and his salary would not be beyond Milan’s limits.
Its just sad how milan has fallen, they will make the kill(scouting) only for the top predators(madrid, chelsea et tal) to come and feast. Milan will be left to scavenge.
I miss the era of Don Silvio B.
