Bayern Munich came knocking on AC Milan’s door to ask about Pierre Kalulu but they were not the only ones to do so and they received the same answer as other clubs.
Antonio Vitiello confirms in his latest column for MilanNews that Bayern Munich have carried out some enquiries through Kalulu’s agents about his situation, given that Benjamin Pavard is heading to Inter and a replacement is needed.
However, Milan sent a ‘clear message’ that they are not willing to deprive themselves of the versatile defender, and especially not on 29 August when the time to replace him is very short.
Vitiello adds that Kalulu had also ‘received some offers from the Premier League and the Bundesliga at the beginning of the summer window’, but the Rossoneri did not want to go any deeper than that.
Bayern have so far ‘not submitted an official offer to Milan’ and the feeling is that even if they did, the Rossoneri do not want to undergo any changes in their rearguard.
Every club out there knows about Kalulu’s high ceiling and potential, not to mention he’s a physical beast that will only get stronger once he reaches his prime. Would be smart to not let him go right now.
Pioliiii… Play him at RB for goodness sake! His career could be stuttered with the continuous positional limbo
Milan need to remove Pioli.
