AC Milan’s summer transfer window is likely to close with the signings of Aster Vranckx and Sergino Dest, and now the impact on the budget has been highlighted.
Starting with Vranckx, Calcio e Finanza (via SempreMilan.it) reports that the midfielder will come on a €2m paid loan deal with an option to buy that will become an obligation (under certain conditions) set at €12m plus a 15% on any future resale.
The player will receive €1.5m net per season for five years should the deal be transformed from a one-year loan into a permanent deal, as per the report.
As for Sergino Dest, Barcelona have let him leave on a free loan with an option to buy set at around €20m. In this case the salary will be higher – and covered entirely by Milan – with the full-back set to earn €3.8m net per season.
For the Belgian, Milan will budget the loan cost of €2m and a gross salary (considering the tax relief provided for by the Growth Decree) of €1.65m, for a total of €3.65m. For Dest, only the gross salary of €4.98m, so total cost of the two operations for the season will be €8.63m.
