Aster Vranckx appears to be the midfielder that AC Milan have chosen to bring depth to the squad as the Rossoneri plot a move, a report claims.
As has been reported on Twitter by La Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Luca Bianchin, the club have settled on Vranckx as being the player of choice to potentially complete their transfer business for the summer.
The formula is reported to be a loan deal with the right of redemption set at €11 million for the 19-year-old Belgian star who plays for Wolfsburg.
It has been known for many weeks that Milan need a new central defender and a new central midfielder in order to give Stefano Pioli enough depth to navigate a title defence.
Malick Thiaw arrived at La Madonnina on Monday morning to undergo his medical which makes him the defensive choice, and now it seems that Milan are close to closing the deal for Vranckx.
