AC Milan are celebrating their 123rd birthday today, and the club have published an excellent video on social media to mark the occasions.
The club known today as AC Milan were founded as Milan Foot-Ball and Cricket Club in 1899 by English expatriate Herbert Kilpin, and there is an interesting mystery around the date the club were actually formed, with Milan officially claiming 16 December as their foundation date.
However, historical evidence seems to suggest that the club were actually founded a few days earlier on 13 December, but the charter has been lost so the mystery may never be solved.
Nevertheless, it gives us reason to celebrate the 123rd birthday and the club marked the occasion with an emotional video.
