AC Milan captain Alessio Romagnoli was on the scoresheet for Italy in their rout of Armenia on Monday at the Stadio Renzo Barbera.
The Azzurri rounded of their Euro 2020 qualifying campaign with a 10th win from 10 games as they routed their opponents.
Ciro Immobile netted a first half brace either side of goals from the two Nicolos – Zaniolo and Barella – while the Roma man added a second after the break.
Romagnoli scored Italy’s sixth goal as he stabbed home from a corner, and Jorginho’s penalty made it 7-0 minutes later. Debutant Riccardo Orsolino added an eighth just moments after that.
Babayan netted for Armenia to avoid the shutout, but second after that Federico Chiesa made it 9-1.
