Samu Castillejo was in tears at the end of Milan’s win against Hellas Verona at San Siro on Saturday night.
The Spaniard entered the field in the second half and played a big hand in the second and third goals for the Rossoneri, and after a difficult period he had a liberating cry in the middle of the pitch. While he was crying in the middle of the field, all his team-mates went to him and hugged him.

I wish all our players play for us with the same enthusiasm and motivation as Samu does. He tries hard, not always successful, but he gives his best for the team. Always respected him for being the most active player on the field. It was a great performance and very important 3 points from him. Wish him all the best if he stays with us or leaves for his destiny in any other club.
He did so well, he left his heart there. With all the his lackings, he is still a great professional and I always thought of him as a great Milanista.
He may be just mediocre in his position, but what he lacks in skill, he can somehow make up in sheer determination and leaving everything he has on the pitch.
Even if he does leave in January, he will always be loved by fans.
I agree.In fact,I think we may need him till the end of the season.Our players get injured so easily…for all you know Messias may never play any serious games without injury.
Castillejo is an average player…but this mentality is exactly what we need.He won’t start many games…but we need this mentality in all 5he players…you could see he believed we could still win it even at 2 gold down.I think with Messias being injury prone…we may need to keep him around for the rest of the yr.
