Watch: Christian Pulisic scores stunning Olimpico goal against Club Brugge

AC Milan took a while to get going against Club Brugge at San Siro in the Champions League, but they took the lead through the red hot Christian Pulisic.

When the starting line-ups came out it became apparent that Pulisic had been diverted back to the right wing with Samuel Chukwueze dropping back to the bench, but it was from a set piece that he made his first real impact of the game.

In the 34th minute, Milan did take the lead and it came in rather bizarre circumstances. Pulisic lined up to take a corner on the left side and went for the usual low whipping delivery to the near post, yet it somehow evaded both runners and Mignolet between the posts to end up in the back of the net, making it 1-0 to the hosts.

  1. Puli, world-class. What a season he’s having!

And to think that anti-American haters called him washed and a Chelsea reject and said he was being hired just because our owner is American and wanted to increase merchandise sales in the USA.

Puli rapidly shut the doubters up and became Milan’s best player.

  2. Pulisic is excellent as standard, but the team is not looking good again! From round to round I expect something more in C.L. but this kind of game just doesn’t go anywhere.
