Paulo Fonseca is impressing several people around Milanello, and it is clear to see why the AC Milan head coach is making a good first impression after seeing videos of his involvement in training.
Coaches often have three methods of training. Firstly, delegating tasks to allow their deputies to lead training, whilst allowing the coach to watch from a distance and get a ‘fuller’ view of the proceedings. Alternatively, there are the coaches who are fully immersed in training, and take part in drills, in some capacity. Finally, there are the coaches who combine the two.
From videos that we have seen emerging from Milanello this week, it seems that Fonseca is more the second type of coach, and videos have emerged of him teaching the squad how he would like them to defend in the early stages.
Today, a similar video has emerged, with him helping with the explosiveness training, where he holds a player, in this case, Samuel Chukwueze, whilst they try to dart forward, and the video (seen below) has been posted by MrRuggeri0 on X.

Once again, Fonseca is working with Chukwueze in the video, and perhaps, he could look to offer the Nigerian winger a more prominent role this season.
Chukwueze being at milanello from the 1st day of pre season might give him advantage over Pulisic especially with a new coach.
Ladt season was the opposite, Pulisic was there from day 1, while Chuck came in late.

Perhaps he have plan making puli AMF in 4231 so he rely chuk as RW .
Think fonseca prefers a left footed rw. Puli might see less minutes this season if he doesn’t impress
Or….and this might seem crazy….. Puli isn’t there yet so he only has one RW to use 🤷♂️
