Just as the momentum seemed to have shifted in Napoli’s favour, Milan took the lead. Some patient build-up play saw Christian Pulisic pick up possession on the right side and he was given time to cut in and pick out a cross with his left foot. It perfectly curled onto the head of Giroud, who headed home from six yards out despite Meret’s attempt to parry.
