Watch: Il Barone makes speech to Milan players ahead of new season

Curva Sud leader Il Barone has addressed the playing squad at Milanello after they made their return to the training centre for pre-season.

He spoke to the players after they had been put through their paces for the first time this summer and ahead of the friendlies in America.

He asked that the players give all of the effort that they are expected to give and that the fans know that they can give.

“We have always believed. It is up to you, you are serious people as you have always shown. Please give everything for what we always give, even in difficult moments. It’s in difficult moments that you have to be united, remember that. We want the good of Milan, that’s why we are here, even in difficult times,” he said.

  1. “It’s in difficult moments that you have to be united, remember that. We want the good of Milan, that’s why we are here, even in difficult times,”

This should also be his message for the comment section so people can stop bickering at each other over Maldini.
He was fired, he is gone, he isn’t coming back. Life goes on.
    Move on.

    1. Brother gladly this management is so lame that they brought us other things to be mad at, we are now distracted from Maldini’s firing, we forgot it. All they managed so far was to sign one free agent that wasn’t retained by Lazio and two guys that we paid generously and it looks like we did a favor to Chelsea who was desperately trying to get rid of them. Also forgot that Chukwueze is probably not coming now, and Kamada as well. It’s embarrassing.

    2. @🔴⚫️

Looks to me like YOU are the only one in the Entire comment section talking about Maldini LMAO. The irony….

      Take your own advice.

      MOVE ON.

      1. If it wasn’t obvious to you I was talking about the comment section on this whole platform, not just the comment section under this article.

        1. @🔴⚫️

Doesnt matter what you were talking about.. You were the only one brought the topic and name of Maldini up when the entire article is nowhere even close to Anything Maldini related. Do I need to point the hypocrisy even more?

    3. They have moved on….to whining about other things – Tonali being sold, the players we’ve signed (all upgrades), the players we haven’t signed (or overpaid on like Thuram/Frattesi) the players we might sign (but haven’t yet because it’s only July)… So overall, yes there’s still a lot to moan about.

      1. I wish I was on the same medication as you my friend this fairy world of yours seems lovely. Ruben as an upgrade over Sandro, Pulisic as an upgrade over Diaz. Yeah Sportiello is probably an upgrade over Tatarusanu but he was signed by the previous management. Football fans start to make fun at the club for the current big mess. This Curva Sud guy speaks of “difficult times”. You said last month “it’s only June”, now “it’s only July”, time goes by and nothing happens but idiocracy.

        1. And please copy and paste the bit where I say cheek is an upgrade on Tonali?? Reijnders or Musah OR someone else will replace Tonali Jesus Christ.

          1. Perfect responses 😂 You guys are aware that only those who don’t have an argument have to resort to childish name calling? So well done. Point proven. Again.

    4. The comment section has always been filled with disagreement. I won’t label it as disunity though. The fact that we are still here despite all the disagreements means there is something that unite as: being Milan fans.

  2. You turning into Martin? June was two weeks ago… I guess some of us just don’t understand why you lot have to moan like demented fishwives over EVERYTHING rather than just supporting the club and oh I don’t know – “seeing what happens.”

  3. i’ve never spoken badly about the players or even the coach. because any result on the field is only get on the field.
win/lose doesn’t matter because there are good days and bad days for everyone, as long as they play with all their heart, and the fans can definitely see that.

i love Maldini, as a player & captain of the team, also the trophies he has won, all Milan fans must not deny it.
BUT as a club director, it’s a different thing, in this new field, he has his strengths and of course his weaknesses, the fans also can see that.

i always support the club no matter what, being at the top or bottom is just part of the cycle of a club.
i just don’t like the current management as well as the owner.
for me, club & owner are 2 different things.
the owner is just part of the club & not the club itself, just like the players, coaches and staff, they are all just part of the club.
and for me to support a football club doesn’t necessarily mean you have to like or agree with all parts of the club.

because you can love the club and dislike the owner,
you can love the club and disagree with the technical director,
you can love the club and disagree with the coach’s decision,
also you can love the club and dislike one or two players.
in the end, love for the club is not just blind love.

    1. Yep dude, well if all ppl thinking like you then no war raging in this site. But too bad hate already filled their heart, their last hope are AC Milan get bad result so they finally can feel winning or satisfied . You can always see their comment everyday ldesperate full of hate speech every day on this sempre milan site

      1. Yeh I agree – even that Bartho guy who likes to pretend he’s all about peace and harmony has turned into Martin – just attacking and calling silly names without even defending his own stupid point. And then turns around and calls the new owners embarrassing. Jeez

        1. No offense bro, I like molly, Steve Jobs loved LSD and Aaron Rogers love ayahusca haha I’m just wondering how you can still approve an ownership that took only dubious decisions and seems lost on the market, selling one of the best players in the team to help Chelsea with its expensive leftovers, getting a no from every worthy free agent, now reportedly changing priority targets because they appear too expensive because “it’s only July” but Villareal and AZ don’t need to sell anymore, and our Serie A rivals are already strengthened.

All they can do is talking like some politicians. “We are all focusing on the market” hahaha would you expect them to say anything else? They steal your watch and tell you what time it is.

          1. “No offense” hahahaha. I don’t go around directly calling people stupid names on this site because I don’t want to stoop to your panic crew’s level. But you do you.

          2. Alright bro we eat babies for breakfast and you’re Gandhi. I didn’t want to hurt your feelings, I would hug you so hard if I could. I love you dejan
