Watch: Manchester City launch new shirt that is ‘inspired by AC Milan’

By Oliver Fisher -

Manchester City have unveiled their new away shirt and have admitted in their launch that it is inspired by the legendary colours of AC Milan.

It is in fact a throwback to the shirt that City wore in the 1969 FA Cup final triumph, and in turn that shirt – as mentioned several times in the presentation video published on Twitter – was ‘inspired by AC Milan’.

The video even goes on to mention club icons such as Paolo Maldini, Alessandro Nesta and Filippo Inzaghi, and features some images of the team from 1899.

    1. Our home jersey is bad at the neck. V-neck or O-neck is better than than model. That cutted-Vneck make it looks stiff. Thats all, the others are good for me because i prefer ACM jersey that dominant in black color.

    1. Yeah. This jersey trick looks like some black magic ritual to finally obtain their long-dreamed UCL cup lol
I wonder PSG becomes red-and-black if MC could win UCL.

  1. Very interesting to see our biggest Sponsors exactly the same with them : PUMA & Emirates.

That ending statement : “Good Job guys, but we will take it from here”, we should fired-up to prove it wrong, in Champions League.

Prove the power of “European-DNA” once again !!
    Forza Milan !!
