Watch: Milan kick off 125th anniversary celebrations with emotional video

AC Milan have published a video on their social media channels which kicks off the 125th anniversary celebrations that will take place between now and the end of the year.

It was back on 16 December 1899 at the Hotel du Nord et des Anglais in Piazza della Repubblica that Englishman Herbert Kilpin and a handful of passionate friends founded the Milan Cricket and Football Club, so in the next couple of months there will be various events to mark the occasion.

For example, the two Milan first teams (men and women) will wear a special commemorative shirt, created with PUMA and designed together with tens of thousands of Rossoneri fans. For the men, it will be worn against Genoa.

Now, the club have posted a video with the caption ‘𝟏𝟐𝟓 𝒚𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒑𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏, triumph, and unforgettable moments’ to try and build hype ahead of the upcoming festivities.
