It doesn’t happen often, but last night saw two AC Milan team-mates become opponents on international duty as Alvaro Morata’s Spain took on Strahinja Pavlovic’s Serbia.
In truth it was a busy night for both players, starting with Morata who took the responsibility of converting a penalty early in the second half but instead put it way over the bar. However, a few minutes later he would redeem himself with a lovely first-time finish to make it 2-0 to the hosts.

Meanwhile, it wasn’t the best of nights for Pavlovic as he went in with a strong challenge in the closing stages of the game, one which was upgraded to a red card after a VAR check with the officials deeming it to be a last-man tackle.

The more I am watching Pavlo the more I am getting convinced that he aint it. Dude is a consistent horror show. Mistakes after Mistakes. Man we should’ve kept Simic.

Nobody pushed Simic out. He chose to leave.
Should he have stayed and not get first choice. Or have you conveniently forgotten that he wanted to be a starter and they were only offering him rotation.
If it was you, would you have stayed or gone to where you are guaranteed first team football??.
All in all was he not systematically pushed out of the club, cos it looks like he was.
That was an odd sending off. It seems he pulled out of the challenge somewhat and that the other defender was in line (and could potentially cover) so Im not sure why the red card. Also I didn’t realize VAR intervenes in such cases but I could be wrong.
In any case I didn’t see anything special from Pav during the game. There were some moments where he stuck to his man well but other times it was just alright. I thought it anything on of his CB compatriots would have gotten a second yellow tbh 🤷♂️
Also mannn the bias is real in here tho. No mention of golden boy smh 🤦♂️
They can’t mention him, he disappeared as usual or did not really do anything as usual.
To be honest what does he really do. Because he gets praised to high heavens🤔🤷♂️
They played Germany…a proper team I suppose, so he went missing. No mention of him getting the hook at the half because it wouldn’t fit the narrative. But Pav and Morata were the only ones that played apparently smh 🤷♂️
Tbh I didn’t realize he played the first half until.i saw the substitution in the second half 🤣🤣🤣
