AC Milan took the lead early on against Inter with a fantastic goal from Christian Pulisic who scored his second huge goal of the week.
The pressure has been building all week for Milan, and Fonseca’s job is seemingly resting on this game. However, the Rossoneri started the game looking like a very different team. Many had expected Inter to dominate the opening periods, but the Diavolo had the better of the early chances.
After a few decent chances – one of which was where Pulisic ran through the middle and was unlucky to breach the defence – the American winger was allowed space in the Nerazzurri half to progress once more and on this occasion, Pulisic got through.
Running between three Inter defenders, the American entered the box and slotted the ball past Sommer for his second early goal of the week. Captain America proving reliable once again, and what a moment.

Captain America, Let’s F-ing Goooo!
Pulisic is our BEST player, period.
No debate.
Has heart, grit, quality, fierceness. Has been a revelation.
Naaaah, it was all Leao. Again. If Leao wasn’t on the pitch occupying 7 Inter players Pulisic would have never gotten the ball, right? 🙂
Great solo goal
Cristian Pulisic. Superstar. Confirmed.
Plays at both ends too — which necessitated him being subbed off. Gives his all.
He really didn’t have any miles on his legs after that huge workload. Nothing less expected from the players though: run until you can’t run anymore. He did that. And more. 🙂
