Watch: Terracciano arrives in Milan – medical tomorrow ahead of €6m move

By Oliver Fisher -

Filippo Terracciano is ready to become a new AC Milan player. The deal was closed in the last few hours and now the full-back has arrived in the city.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, tomorrow – Monday 8 January – will be the day he signs with the Rossoneri on a permanent deal from Verona. He will stay in a hotel tonight, undergo his medical examinations and then sign a contract until June 2028.

Terracciano will be Milan’s first actual signing in this January transfer market, as Geoffrey Moncada confirmed before the Empoli game, and the second addition after the early return of Matteo Gabbia from his loan at Villarreal.

The Italy U21 international will join for €4.5m as a fixed amount plus another €1.5m in potential bonuses. Furthermore, Verona will retain 10% on its future resale.

  1. Any Italian that’s joining the team should be a good and valuable alternative to the squad. Nice job from the Milan hierarchy

      1. Isn’t Florenzi in Florenzi’s place?

So either we give up on experienced player or deny this new signing game time.

I wonder will he regret his decision to join.

  2. I don’t understand why we need him. We have Gabbia and two young full backs. Where is he playing? DM? Couldn’t be

    1. I wouldn’t be surprised if they have DM position in mind for him.
Saying that, he should get opportunities at RB and LB given our current crisis

      1. Oh gawd no. Why dont they sign a proper DM. Its like moving backwards. This was the whole reason the 433 didn’t work out. Ppl didn’t like Krunic and Adli isn’t good enough defensively. And this dude is supposed to be the answer???
Are we back to the 4231 now? And if yes, why sell a player that can play that pivot role? The whole thing doesn’t make sense
