CM: West Ham ready €10m bid for Spezia defender – Milan’s interest could start an auction

AC Milan are interested in signing young centre-back Jakub Kiwior from Spezia but a concrete move from West Ham could scupper their plans.

Calciomercato.com report that Kiwior is beginning to attract the interest of some top clubs having made 22 appearances in Serie A last season, with teams in Italy but also abroad seeing just how talented he is.

West Ham have taken concrete steps to sign the Poland international having begun contacts with Spezia. They asked for information and are readying a bid worth €10m, with the London club looking to bolster the squad with another signing from Italy after signing Gianluca Scamacca from Sassuolo.

Spezia’s will, for the moment, is to reject the bid because they are convinced that they will be able to obtain even more in a few months, with the possibility of starting an auction considering the interest of Milan.

They also consider Kiwior to be at the centre of the project, and some starts for Poland at the World Cup in Qatar could really drive his price up.
