According to virtually all major sources, Milan have agreed a deal with Chelsea which is worth €20m plus bonuses. The USA international is expected to arrive for his medical some time next week before signing his contract.

Pulisic knows Fikayo Tomori and Ruben Loftus-Cheek but he has also been provider for Giroud in the past. The Frenchman spoke about the winger during an interview with CBS Sports Golazo back in May.

“He was a happy boy, always good vibes, smiling, easy to have a laugh with him. My understanding on the pitch with him was top, a bit like Eden [Hazard], though I played less with Christian,” he said (via FootballItalia).

“He is very skilful, he can dribble, play the one-two, knew how to use me on the pitch and vice-versa. We had some good times together. I hope he can get rid of the injuries, get more consistency and games, because he is a very, very talented player.”

Giroud was also asked about the idea of Pulisic joining Milan, given there were rumours of it even back then.

“Ooh, good question. People here would love it, so would the coach, he is definitely a big name in Europe. Yeah, he could help us.”
