AC Milan is preparing to face a crucial period of the season with a very demanding schedule that, although it still offers opportunities, further complicates the fight for fourth place and qualification for the Champions League.

Starting from the next matches after the international, Milan’s path promises to be arduous and full of obstacles. On March 30, Milan will face Napoli in Serie A in a tough match against one of the league’s most in-form teams. This match will be crucial to stay in the race for qualification in Europe.

However, the real test will come immediately after, with the two legs against Inter in the Coppa Italia on April 2 and 23. Both games against the Nerazzurri will be decisive not only for the race for the trophy, but also for the mental boost that qualifying for the final could give the team.

In April, Milan will find themselves playing against teams full of confidence like Fiorentina (April 5), Udinese (April 11) and Atalanta (April 20). The calendar certainly doesn’t help, also because traditionally these three teams have often made the Rossoneri suffer.

La Dea comes from a 4-0 win away against Juventus that left its mark, while La Viola could try to come back just to steal a place in the Europa League from Milan. It can even be said that these three challenges, in all probability, will decide the qualifiers for next season’s European competitions.

Next up, Milan will face Venezia (April 27) and Genoa (May 4). These are matches in which the Rossoneri will have to try to take full points, but without underestimating the pitfalls that a complicated season can bring.

The month of May will see Milan face Bologna (May 11), Roma (May 18) and Monza (May 25). The challenge against Roma will be particularly important , considering that it is a direct competitor for qualification in Europe.

Looking at the calendar and the current situation, fourth place and qualification for the Champions League seem like a difficult goal to achieve without a lot of fortune. If you are feeling lucky though, check out casinos not on GamStop.

The obvious shortcomings in this Milan, such as the lack of continuity, the fragility in defence and the lack of incisiveness in attack, are factors that weigh considerably. The team has never shown enough solidity to be able to compete consistently against the top-ranking teams.

Furthermore, the mentality that is not always that of a great team and the lacklustre management of crucial matches are elements that make it difficult to hope for a comeback towards fourth place.
